Goodnight to Julee Cruise the pint sized poppet with the voice of an angel.
Died we are told "on her own terms" aged 65

Best known for her work for David Lynch, starting with Blue Velvet and of course Twin Peaks.
A track that pretty much sums up how I feel on hearing the news

James Anderton.

Gods cop or so he thought, very popular with many but not all in GMP.

I thought John Stalker would've been better.

RIP Hardy Kruger:-

Mr. Kruger starred in the 1957 British drama "The One That Got Away," which was based on a true story about a captured German fighter pilot who stages daring attempts to escape the Allies and, as the title suggests, finally succeeds. The film, tautly directed by Roy Ward Baker, drew excellent reviews and elevated Mr. Kruger's cachet in English-speaking cinema.

The POW camp the real life escape was made from became a church conference centre. I have slept in the room the real life escapee escaped from. I don't know if the film used the same location.
<t>In matters of taxation, Lord Clyde\'s summing up in the 1929 case Inland Revenue v Ayrshire Pullman Services is worth a glance.</t>

Well yesterday Meatloaf died at the age of 74, having caught covid according to press reports.

His Bat out of Hell album was a rock classic, and a top selling album for many years back in the day, and probably what he will we be most remembered for.

Like many who were young back in the 80s I had a copy, which I enjoyed listening to a lot.

A couple of decades ago it was the icons of my mum's generation who were dropping like flies. In more recent years it is increasingly happening to the icons of mine, which is both saddening and worrying at the same time. It is as if I can see the grim reaper appearing over the horizon now, and walking slowly but surely in my direction.

I cannot speak for everyone but for me and many of my generation, Meatloaf will always be remembered, his greatest album still listened to.

RIP Meatloaf.
