I said that it is not a bad deal, although we are at the fried Christmas cake stage at this end and can't think about food without turning a bit green.

My impression is that nothing much will change and that anyone, in either the UK or EU, who is too badly hit will be quietly bought off.

I am going into a diabetic coma. I have eaten so much cake that when I tried to test blood sugar level, instead of a reading it offered me shares in Tate and Lyle. Still, it was fun

Bad news for Pappy and City men such as Pat, who will face desperate and no doubt doomed to fail attempts by the EU to make them act in a semi civilised manner, but money men never have before and probably won't now. Otherwise,  not a bad deal.
