Venison seems quite popular at the moment . Ive been offered a few choice cuts in the last couple of weeks and on the one occasion told a neighbour Id have a rack of ribs ,thinking Id stick them in the freezer for the summer BBQ .

When they turned up in a bin liner with a couple of haunches nobody else would take off his hands  I started thinking road kill and poaching but hey ho they roasted up OK though Ive always found the meat a little strong for my taste its OK for a change .

What the hell is going on over in Portugal though is anyones guess

I saw this a few days ago and it made me feel sick. It seems that everything has to be taken to excess these days. How wrong it is.
