Last weekend, father and son vlogger team Lee and Ollie Barrett were the lead targets in a Times Hit Piece on vloggers in China.
The Barretts are one of the larger channels that deal with positive China subjects, but even they are still quite modest in size compared to many of the big You Tube channels that deal in other subjects, so why a group of such channels with smallish followings should get such attention from big media, is surprising.

I think what's best is half-autonomy for HK - Brit rule was wrong, so would be anything similar. They need to try and keep qchina and the west facing off against each other to maintain their autonomy without letting themselves get 'taken over' by either.

I think older HKers probably appreciate that more as they don't like either system.

I can very easily call some people White Supremacists, scared at the prospect of a non white civilisation that can do things better than ours can
I can some people Christian Supremacists, who are so extreme and intolerant that they will ignore and hate facts that contradict their extremist beliefs, simply because it contradicts there arrogant assumption of the  infallibility of their beleifs

I listened to the first minute of that and its just propaganda for the ill informed .  Canada has from March 16 2020 more or less shut down to all but essential  (Canadians) cross border travel ,closed the border with the USA  and yes had 14 day quarantine to ALL those who enter Canada .
