Travel certification is a complete waste of time . All it does is confirm you didnt have covid when you took it not that you dont have it when you have the piece of paper in your hand .
Travel wont be safe or recommended until  we have the jab , whenever that is .

There is very little local economy left.
Well about time you rolled up your sleeves and start helping then, instead of being a complete arse.

More lies about me. All I have is my State Pension and a small private pension.
Stop harassing me.

Ok i will have to confer with the rest of the forum ,but you told us all you sold off your ex council property and made hundreds of thousands , and you have a large final salary pension that you dont need to spens as it goes straight into your savings account.

Are you now saying you lied pappy?

I have looked up to you all these years as a classic example of hard working conservatism  , and now you have deflated me telling me you lied?

Stop spouting lies and complete bollocks about me.  You are incapable of debate, on what are serious issues.

what!? Now?!

Cornwall has never had any local economy in history as you know fine well pappy. A couple of tin mines , a few farms , fishing and tourists.

You keep chasing the latter and their cash away , and the former arent really up to much , so you cant complain .

As sheep says help the local economy then with your vast personal wealth.

They might put a statue up for you in truro  , here stood pappy the buckinghamshire philanthropist that donated all his wealth to the needy in cornwall.

Howe about that? Would that make you smile?

No I can't easily afford it.  I suspect whilst the certification remains a requirement few people will travel even when allowed to.

He can't sheep , as he doesnt want to encourage the tourists into his county that he hates. Thats why he bails out of cornwall and wants the quiet solitude of brittany in the summer.

If he starts throwing his vast cash reserves around his back yard , not only will he encourage the tourist into his village , but the local socialist workers club might throw him out for being a champagne socialist.

If it is more what would be the point.

you can easliy afford it pappy. You need to think of all the fun you can have travelling instead of worrying about what is in effect a small bit of cash to a man of your means.

Fun! happiness! life! Living!. Thats the point.

It isn't a bargain it is bloody outrageously expensive. £120 each, £240 is more than the ferry ticket.

It will be even more on the black market!
