Apparently the UK population during the year 2020, rose by 1.2 millions compared with 2019.

Obviously this is good news for anyone who thought this flu business was going to drive the UK's population to near extinction, but it does raise the question of how effective have the government's health warnings been? Clearly, with so many of the general public getting stuck on each other and going at it with shirt tails flying, adherence to the 2 yard rule has not been as firmly observed as hoped.
