Global politics isn't something they are much use at anyway, they have made a right mess around the globe and expect everyone to rally around them picking up the pieces as usual. As for putting all of the Irish troubles right, maybe after a look at American internal politics and the state of the place, the Irish might like to think about it before they go off halfcocked, but then I guess that lies with them.
Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean I haven't noticed!
