Like the Daily Mail? Which you believe of course because you want to. What is it with your generation's faith in the absolute tosh that often fills the newspapers? Most of which simply act as propaganda rags for their owners.
And one bit taken out of the context that to Gerry all British newspapers are rags and the BBC is all lies when it suits.

My generation? What stupid thick Nazi gammons, sod off stevie boy.

I ain't going to defend the mail or any other news outlet to someone like you who predetermines that if its in a particular paper it must be a lie,you must've forgot your very old forum signature "a mind like a parachute works best when open"

Definitely closed because your long whinges that all on here are right wing because they voted in a referendum in way you didn't like........much the same thinking as Thornberry who though you purport to disdain share the same views.

Your problem Steve is your innate sense of a superior mind to al others views or opinions.

Throughout the last few pages of this debate, Gerry has been the voice of reason against anti-EU obsessives spouting their Daily Mail inspired shite. Cromwell cannot even back up his claim that von der Lyon is a liar, citing an allegedly poor performanance when in charge of the Bundewehr, and a claim about plagiarism disproven in a court of law. And laughably he cites as his source for much of his info about her - and presumably the EU as a whole - the British papers, hahaha.

Ohhh look at that steve has a "new " friend to hold his hand on this nasty forum where no one likes his beloved labour party.

In desperation for a "new " friend , he is now in bed with a neo liberal blairite tony blair worshipper pretending to be a paddy from dublin , who has had more online
pseudonyms and nationalities than i have had hot feckin dinners.

You know why that is steve? Due to his history on this forum past and present of upsetting people , sending pms in the early hours of the morning threating members as well as hounding sensitive souls like yourself off the forum in times gones past.

My feck you are getting desperate.

so you keep saying , but as we have discussed many a time before , your bleating that the newspapers brainwash the gullible public into voting brexit and not voting your beloved labour dont stack up in any way shape or form.

The "establishment "was fully against brexit in 2016 , and despite them throwing the kitchen sink and everything at the english public , including drafting in american presidents to tell the english how naughty they would be to vote brexit , england said feck off and voted how they wanted to. I admired the english for sticking to their guns in the face of all that hostility and ridicule from the powers that be.

Scotland didnt vote brexit , and many of those same newspapers operate here , and on top of that  , as i have pointed out before , scotland rejects labour , despite the fact those same newspapers and media especially bbc pacific quay are stacked full of labour party toadies in scotland.

You and your new friend gerry the good fellow just cant accept those gullible voting public that you think need the labour party to hold thir hands do actually have a brain and can indeed think for themselves , its just that they dont agree with you and your politics hence why labour are out of power and have been for over a decade.

Yep well informed punters there.

Must have been a crushing feckin blow to your "ego" when those well informed punters stuck two fingers up to your project fear and voted for brexit.

Here gerry  , mozilla have been advertising about VPN`s , and how if your are a disgruntled blairite who cant get over the "well informed punters" voting for brexit , you can always set up a virtual private network to remain anonymous , pretend to be concerned paddy from dublin  , and spend every waking moment of your time bleating about brexit.

Quote from: DeppityDawg on March 22, 2021, 08:59:20 PMYes Gerry. And the UK signed its contract in June 2020, not August as the EU did. Further, the whole AZ vaccine is being supplied at cost, so contractual obligations are not linked to profits for anyone, but to real world logisitics and legalities. We've been through this before, and you ignored it. And you'll ignore it again, because you are nothing more than a troll.

Later EU supply caused by later contract signing and manufacturing issues, says chief executive
Well thats that so, or is it. The CEO is proving to be far from an honest broker. First he said the contracts said EU supplied by EU factories and UK had a "must deliver to the UK first" section. Both of these claims are false. I've read the EU contract and it does say vaccines would come from EU factories and from UK factories. Also according to the attached the EU contract was dated 1 day before the UK contract in August, oops again another lie from AZ CEO. Lets make it 3 in a row, the UK contract also used the "best endeavours clause" and it DOES NOT have a "must supply the UK first" clause as the CEO suggests. He must be a good friend of Johnson. What matters is whats in the contract and not what was agreed on a bar stool.
I'd like to see the UK contract but its hard to find, if you want a copy of the EU one I'll send you a copy.

But as a non Brit you've spent years coming on it whilst claiming "you don't care about Brexit". Now feck off and and lick your EU flag.
I never said I didn't like the site, its the regurgitation of daily mail nonsense that is such a waste of time, at least you made an effort. Now where's that flag...

Lets get a copy of the UK contract and we'll see the date it was signed.

Later EU supply caused by later contract signing and manufacturing issues, says chief executive

QuoteThe chief executive of the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca has said the reason why the company has been able to provide its Covid-19 vaccine to the UK more smoothly than to the EU is a result of the sign-off dates and the different terms of the company's contracts with both.

AstraZeneca came under fire from the European Commission earlier in the week, when according to the Commission the company said it would not deliver doses of its vaccine to the EU when previously expected.

The UK signed off its deal with AstraZeneca in June 2020, three months before the EU did. As a result, a manufacturing plant in the UK has been able to achieve a higher yield than plants elsewhere, according to an interview with Pascal Soriot published on 26 January in the Italian newspaper La Repubblica. "With the UK we have had an extra three months to fix all the glitches we experienced," Soriot told the paper.

You're too patient. Most of us figured that out a long time ago.

The EU fecked up its vaccine procurement, and now its everyone elses fault but their own. Did you think some pikey from a caravan park outside Drogheda was going to agree with you  :D :D :D
Well Cromwell's slinked off as his "facts" were as strong as what you find in the daily mail. Maybe you can do a bit better. But you start well, with some personal insults, quite the common trait on this site.
The EU in good faith signed a advanced purchase agreement with AZ last August giving them 336m to help them develop the vaccine. It also committed to helping AZ source raw material to manufacture and also help fund the building of their manufacturing facilities. It also committed to a minimum purchase of 300m vaccines if the vaccine passed testing with an option to increase that to 400m. The contract stipulated that manufacturing would be from any EU AZ manufacturing facility including any companies AZ licensed the manufacturing from if that company was approved by the EU. And the contract stipulated that the orders would also be filled by AZ manufacturing facilities in the UK. AZ are not meeting the delivery schedule and are not shipping from any UK site, the contract stipulates that if AZ feels any other contract they would have could impact the delivery of vaccines to the EU then AZ had to tell the EU immediatly, AZ didn't do that.
The EU see's AZ fullying shipping to one customer so it's considering halting deliveries out of the EU by AZ until this gets sorted. No decision has yet being made.
The EU has shipped 10m vaccines to the UK, which is about 40% of all vaccinated people, say thank you EU.
The UK has shipped ZERO vaccines to the EU, say thank you Johnson for playing extreme vaccine nationalism, and he has the cheek to say the EU are blocking !!

Go on so, dismantle the above and show me how the EU "fecked up" or are you another click bait poster.

Lets get this straight, you call her a liar because A.) you don't think she did a good job as defence minister and b.) you think she copied text in her doctorate hahahaha. Well she was cleared of that serious serious charge, even by your BBC
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-35769001
Is that it, that's the sum total for your reason to call her a liar ? there must be more ? hahhahahaha, keep it coming, this stuff is great.
Another gem, just when I thought you were giving up on the lying nonsense you come out with this beauty, come on, give us a link so I can go laugh at the reality behind the click bait.
Of course you are, you ran down a rabbit hole and know your wrong. I'll stop asking for proof as you can't supply it and maybe you'll refrain from calling the woman a liar, unlike of course you want to talk about the Liar Johnson, shall we ?
