I for one find that really interesting. Isn't the cost phenomenal? Where do I look for examples?

The cost of professional products is often cheaper. You see it  is a professional market, so the average buyer knows not to buy Black and Decker and knows what the price of tools is as well. Sometimes you need a trade card.

Under EU regs a new domestic vacuum cleaner is limited to 900watts power.

However that regulation does not apply to industrial vacuum cleaners.

So my wife's new vacuum cleaner is 1400 watts, and is also wet and dry cleaner.

(I have to try and by non domestic appliances because my wife can destroy anything designed for the domestic market within minutes.)

Hence the plumber blow lamp for cookery.

We should be out of that shthole soon. After which, what follows is a long protracted war on EU regulations, which our government will initially adopt wholesale.

Anyway, top tip and worth a  mention.

I'm absolutely bloody sick of it. You want to buy product A and the EU shouts No, you buy what we say you buy. Have product B prole and pay your taxes for the service.

Actually the cost was a lot cheaper than buying a domestic vacuum cleaner. (They are however not very user friendly in a domestic environment.)

But we live in a bungalow with no carpets on the floors. I tiled all the floors with a large batch of "end of line," Italian floor tiles some years ago that were very cheap.
