No. It is was unnecessary then, as it is now,  and is dehumanising.
It doesn't affect me personally, as I am exempt.

Oh Barry - how out of date is all that? We have moved on from there. Some of want to do all we can to stop the spread. What is so difficult for you with those of us that just might be public spirited. If you think it doesn't matter why be so hell bent on pushing your opinion? If it doesn't matter think of it as a fashion accessory. All my masks are chosen to suit my outfits. It isn't worth the arguments!

I don't see what the fuss is really about. All the wittering about rights etc seems just a bit silly to me. Lots of Asians wear them as a matter of course for all sorts of reasons - it all seems very sensible to me and is a habit it is about time we adopted as a matter of politeness. 

I agree that it felt strange at first but as time has gone on it has become almost normal. Frankly there are some who are quite good looking in a mask!

To be honest, as a diabetic and therefore in a vulnerable group, I never stopped wearing masks. I exercised my personal choice to continue wearing them.

As far as I am concerned wearing a mask does nothing to impede economic activity, provided you can remove them in eating or drinking establishments in order to eat or drink. With the exception of these latter, I believe mask wearing should always have remained mandatory

Well it never ended for me,funnily enough of late I would go in a shop and be in the about one third wearing one and the odd why are you still wearing that?

I pay extra for the ffp2 mask to protect my OH who has a compromised immune system.
