His latest bribe to try and buy votes is to compensate the women who gave to wait until they are 66 years of age to collect their state pension , that alone would cost the taxpayers £58 billion

At least the Tory one is more sensible and probably more affordable which should be deliverable, the Labour one is not based on hate and envy ,to try and deliver what they promises will cost hundreds of billions , higher taxes all round , higher borrowing IMO not deliverable or affordable just pie in the sky.

True.

All Wurzel has promised is the Venezuelalisation of the UK. Boris meanwhile, has promised not much of anything which should be an easy promise to keep and which should ensure his return to Number 10
Algerie Francais !

As per usual the Devil in the Detail, at least he has not gone on a huge spending splurge like Labour promise to do

This country needs significant change to address its issues and the Conservatives have just offered more of the same. Not only that but the Conservatives have actively lied about nurses, hospitals and Brexit.

I don't approve of all of Labours manifesto policies but they actually have a positive vision for the country and want to address the problems in this country.

Fixing decades of neglect will be expensive, especially after the last nine years of Conservative rule during which they actively sought to dismantle public services through austerity whilst simultaneously giving the wealthy tax cuts.

Johnson's promises still need money — including the promises not to increase some identifiable taxes. Watch new and less well- known ways of extracting money be imposed should he actually get enough votes...

Of course they will the nation always needs money no matter who is in Government, I agree with Toots it is our money and far too often they do not spend it wisely,

It doesn't matter who promises what. In the end hopefully we all understand who will pay for it. There is no such thing as a free lunch. All we can hope is that those put in charge of the treasury spend our cash wisely.

On climate change — we're talking, we're beginning to act, but we're still not doing enough...

Bit of a damp squib and even then the IFS has stated the triple-locks means it's unclear how they'll fund anything without additional revenue from increasing taxes.

The extra nurses promise was simply misleading since that includes 19k 'retained nurses. If anything EU nurses having to pay a healthcare and a visa fee post-Brexit will likely discourage many of them from coming here.

He'll forge a new Britain alright, one that will make the last nine years of Conservative rule look benign and competent.

Churchill

This is what the PM and Government say they will do, if they can all well and good but they have to win and win with a majority to break the log jam in the Commons
