The same happened during the War on Terror under Labour, which coincidently coincided with Labour's mass-immigration into England.  It's a good way of introducing draconian laws and the panopticon surveillance state.

Conversely labour ( as the party of scotland) largely presided over mass emigration from scotland in the period 1979-99 , where a fifth of the population emigrated for a better life elsewhere.

While sturgeon and johnson were telling us all to stay in our houses for the sake of our countries benefit due to covid, i see a report stating the uk government let 1.5 million people into the uk at various ports over the first four or five months of the year , two thirds of whom were not uk nationals?

What actually was the feckin point us locking down when these folk were bringing indian variants etc of covid into the yookay with them?

But then the food wasn't good enough at their hotel accommodation and by sheer numbers the border force is overwhelmed, so they must want something else. They were obviously expecting some king of socialist paradises as advertised on the brochure.
