So do I, but I dont want it replaced by even more bullshit and bias.
As far as I can tell, GB News has no interest in replacing far-left propaganda and is just another news channel.  I am sure The Canary and Socialist Worker will still exist tomorrow.

For those who feel some connection to Labour, and aren't dependent on extreme hysterical name calling and tantrums, maybe this will get some supportive arguments:

I have tried again tonight with a brand new tv (it didn't help) and is it really a news channel?

Not much news on it. Far too lightweight, it is difficult to see who the target audience is.

Well, they still have better viewing figures than ITV or BBC news. Which must say something.
Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean I haven't noticed!

Probably the voices in his head.
You reall said that?
Well I don't share all the same views as he or anyone else has on here but you think because he's right wing he's mentally ill......shameful IMO.

What has made you come to that conclusion?

We are not all in the same boat. We are in the same storm. Some of us have yachts. Some of us have canoes. Some of us are drowning.

I have tried again tonight with a brand new tv (it didn't help) and is it really a news channel? They are simply not professional enough to put over what they are trying to convey.  They are still in rehearsal mode, the sound is abysmal, the reporters incoherent, and why would someone start their show by apologising for all the things that might go wrong?  Talk about tempting fate! You only have one chance to make a good impression. There is a lot of goodwill that they are just throwing to the wind.

Given it another go. Still got technical problems — sound lost after ads, lip synch way off and disconcerting, Andrew Neil frequently not ready for camera (seems like there's only one) — and the information content isn't really offering any more than is available around the place. So far, not that interesting...
Oh blimey not even been going 24 hours and people writing it off,I remember sky first starting up ......pretty abysmal and the breakfast TV too,the grauniad is calling it partisan and of course the grauniad is totally impartial and without bias, they say it won't last a year. ::)

On climate change — we're talking, we're beginning to act, but we're still not doing enough...

I see the Left are triggered, so it's obviously doing something good.

Watched it for a while this morning. Poor clarity of vision and poor lip sych which I hoped would be overridden by refreshing content. It wasn't - it was boring so it went off.
Will give it another try later, perhaps.
Technical problems also during Andrew Neil's opening stint yesterday. Dipped in and out a few times during the rest of the evening. At the moment only the novelty and initial publicity gets me watching. Unless it ups its presentation and imposes a bit of discipline in the discussion elements of its programming, I doubt GBN will be one of my go-to news channels...

Agreed - but I can't quite put my finger on what is really missing. Delivery seemed a bit lightweight so perhaps I was hoping for a bit more gravitas with humour. Maybe that's impossible. I saw Farage briefly but can't remember what was said. So not having much impact. Reports call it refreshing and quote those who feel it's wonderful so perhaps it's me!

The sound quality is poor as well. Also no subtitles, and  no text service.

So far I have switched it on 3 times. I watched the opening programme last night. I got to the point that I wanted to throw something at the screen. I tried again later but again got bored and this morning early found the delivery and the black set difficult, particularly with the black presenter centre who seemed to disappear into the background.

Perhaps I am generally fed up with news/debate. There was little that I haven't heard before. Maybe I am too harsh and over time they will up their game but I don't need to watch them still rehearsing.
