Brexit is turning into a bigger disaster as time passes and it will only get worse.
There is no sign yet of lithium being produced at all in Cornwall, let alone in the many thousands of tonnes per year needed. If the Cornwall lithium turns out to be pie in the sky, the lithium will have to be mainly imported from China.

Australia's li-ion battery production is only just starting and is currently limited to trucks and buses and tailored to Australian weather conditions...

Where is the infrastructure to charge the cars?  On a personal level it would cost more for me to put a charger in my garage than I paid for my current car.
