You  have spent the last 18 months cowering under the bed trying to stay alive which is impossible as it is clear that you have never really lived

That is a blatant lie and a vicious personal attack.

To be honest Pappy, it would have been fairer if you had asked your GP how she felt.

My GP practice has already stated, that as one of the seriously clinically vulnerable, despite having had two Covid 19 vaccinations to continue avoiding people and shops. (My GP happens to be male.) The specialists nurses who I have to see for regular checkups and blood tests are all of the same opinion.

At my last appointment with a local GP practice nurse, she asked me was I depressed.  I had to bite my lip.
There is a very big difference with being depressed and clinically depressed.
What with Bojo-The-Clown as prime minister and a very nasty, callous, and incompetent government, plus being one of the clinically extremely vulnerable, of course I am depressed, but not clinically depressed.

You hate tourists and Tories and have spent the last 18 months cowering under the bed trying to stay alive which is impossible as it is clear that you have never really lived. Can you imagine how your doctor must fell at being at the receiving end of your Tsunami of glumness?

This isn't addressed against toots Barry but unfortunately people will be people.

The hysterics and worriers will be hysterical and worry, those who don't care will carry on. Not giving a shit.

Fully agree with you Barry , and during the course of this pandemic we have said time and again some people are that scared of dying they have stopped living.

We are at the end of the road in terms of what can be done.......most folk are vaccinated what more do they want done?

Government can't offer immortality pills and a virus free life.

All true.

The sad thing is that you have thoroughly decent folk like Toots who will worry needlessly and self centred sods such as myself who could not give a toss.

True but they could make the wearing of face masks on public transport and shops legal requirement, after next Monday.

I assume you've been vaccinated?
Get out and enjoy life! Life is not a rehearsal.

I would describe myself as slightly anxious at present. Have I a mental health problem? No. I am advised now not to mix with those not double vaccinated. Just how am I supposed to do that and still go about my life as normal but carefully?

My health now is my responsibility with minimal factual knowledge to help me make educated decisions other than to retreat behind closed doors once more. Perhaps I would do better if I did have a nervous breakdown.

I am older than you Toots and suspect that I have eaten, drunk, smoked and mingled with a lot more sickly bastards than you have. When I post that I am dead you can start worrying. In the meantime, enjoy life

Never fear Toots Sheepbrain is on the case, simple set up a fecking helpline then.

They are a fucking waste of space.

I speak from experience from twelve years ago and a fortnight ago. The call a fortnight ago was singularly fucking useless.

Good and glad because they are amongst a few really good charities in the UK.

There are a fair few people with mental health issues, they shouldn't be neglected.
Well maybe for a change they can help some of the people in this country with the foreign aid cuts, instead of thinking they are masters of the universe and can solve the world's problems. You never know.
