As I've asked many times over the years, show me a method of sorting the needy from the ones swinging the lead.

If I was an employee, I could go to the Dr, tell him I am stressed at work and get a sick note. Literally head butt the wall a few times before my follow up appointment and tell the Dr I have issues. I'd be on benefits and my mortgage paid until I drew my pension. Working the system is capitalism, like it or not.

Frankly you very obviously know precisely zero about the benefits system, an ignorance I frankly fine shocking. Especially after a decade of a hostile environment towards claimants by the DWP, JobCentre Plus, and DWP contractors.

This is just the tip of the iceberg, more at link:-

DWP sees 'sharp rise' in benefit death reviews
By Alex Homer
BBC Shared Data Unit

Published3 days ago

The number of internal reviews held when a person claiming benefits dies or comes to serious harm has risen in the past two years, new figures show.

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has begun 124 reviews since July 2019. Ninety-seven of those concerned people who died.

The DWP holds reviews when it is alleged its actions had a negative impact, or when named at an inquest.

It said its priority was to deliver a supportive and compassionate service.

It follows a BBC investigation into the scale of deaths earlier this year, which found at least 144 internal reviews were carried out between 2012 and 2019.

Just one problem Capitalism appears to be screwing up the World and the majority of the population.

Another throw away one liner with no substance or evidence to back it up.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

You don't think what you describe as the needy have in their number once very capable people?

All that's fine, but labour often screws labour — that is the working class is as capitalistic as the bosses. Look at the old print unions virtually running the print works and holding bosses and other workers to ransom. So when Murdoch wanted to get the chance to actually run his London-based print media, he persuaded the Electricians to run his printing presses. The outcome was the printers got dumped and the electricians got paid more and Murdoch's companies paid out less in wages. Dreadful really, but you'd need a heart of stone not to cheer the Dirty Digger.
The reason Murdoch's companies got a lower wage bill?
Simple, only real people were being paid for jobs that were actually being done...
On climate change — we're talking, we're beginning to act, but we're still not doing enough...

There has to be balance for society to function  . Yes be rewarded for your labour ,which includes not being screwed from above and taking care of the needy which includes not being screwed from below .

Well that's it innit guv, it is all about Communism and Capitalism, when they both have more to do with elitism than democracy.
Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean I haven't noticed!

As I said, the ones in the Socialist quota don't know that they are a part of a bigger theme. Do you honestly think the needy are aware of the perpetual race to the top.

Cobblers!! Explain to me where you think I am wrong Mr C, you can't just dismiss it with the bird.

This video explains what all you left wing liberals need to understand, let's face it: communism doesn't work because millions of years of evolution dictate that the majority of humans compete for rites in all fields. Socialism will never work because the dregs of society will compete to access as much as they can without adding anything to the economy.

Capitalism is what it says on the tin, you fight for it and you keep what you win, minus tax.

If this was a Tarantino movie there would be a caption "Nick (Domergue) has a secret"

It's simple...

Communism is capitalism but only the top 0.0000001% know that it's capitalism, the rest believe they are a part of a cooperative. In essence it's The Hunger Games.
Again, Socialism is capitalism but the only ones who don't know or understand it are the ones that actually need the socialist values and support. The majority of the great unwashed are involved in capitalist activities but in the same way a Leech works for its prize.
I believe Capitalism is the only ism where everyone involved actually knows the rules: You do nowt you get nowt.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
