If people can't ensure their kids are fed in the holidays, they shouldn't have them.

Quite.

Like most parents things have been a bit up and down and there have been times when the kids ate and we didn't. No big thing, but I do think that any well feed parent with a hungry child should have his (the parent) head stuck up his arse and be told to eat his way out.

Barry that I am afraid shows how remote you are from the reality, (as are most Tory MPs as well.) The need is down to 10 years of Tory austerity policies.

There are other ways the disabled can do useful things in real work.

That there are, but frankly the Tories have been hindering that process not helping it.

Well whatever floats your boat,we once had an organisation called remploy that shamefully labour closed down the job finished by the coalition

I knew a man with a learning disability who happily worked for them for years,he did manage to find work in what you might describe mainstream employment where some so called normal people made his life a misery.......I would question who are the real halfwits.

Well, yes, we did. And I have personal experience of them from the days when it seemed my eldest was doomed to remedial education and no academic advancement with the states failure to aid her dyslexia.

Frankly, I wouldn't let my worst enemy get exploited by those modern day workhouses after what I saw their office brigade do in Newport.

I cannot ignore it, it is harassment and against the rules of the forum, which frankly you appear to be ignoring as well.
And frankly it's not as though you  frequently have broken the rules and got away with it,and now you are questioning mod integrity and the interpretation of the rules and you've got away with that too......but please don't push it.

Interesting proposition — melding constructive thinking with facetious sarcasm will probably require a glug or two of Tomorite...

Well it's not as though you don't mention Bicester when you can is it?

..it doesn't matter it's all opinions.

Lying about me is deliberate. If it were out in public I would be suing, as I have successfully done several times.

Smurfy you really should ignore it,let it go over your head.......he's said as much himself and then it would be pointless if you didn't react.

I don't doubt you often have good intentions but hen you go on to endlessly rant about the tories or people lying.......it doesn't matter it's all opinions.

He is lying about me, no matter often I tell him I have been doing the complete opposite of his lies and abuse for a very long time.
Where it is assessed to be possible, (by experts not the DWP or DWP contractors,) the aim should be to get as many physically/mentally disabled people into work as possible.
The barriers to that are, lack of specialist education and training, a hostile environment from the government, a hostile general public, a hostile right wing media press.
The workplace environment needs changing in many cases as well and the attitude of non disabled workers.

Hmmm whilst your efforts to wind smurfy up continue why instead don't you post whether you think employing  people who are physically, mentally disabled or possibly both is a good idea or not?

You must have read Pappy's posts so how you managed to missed his constant bragging about his efforts to keep the mentally and physically disabled out of work is beyond me.

I think that employing God's Walking Wounded is an excellent idea. Most folk can do something and even if they can't they can be made to feel that they are. It increases their sense of self worth, puts a few bob in their pockets, gives their carers a break and keeps them out of the hands of emotion vampires such as Pappy.

On climate change — we're talking, we're beginning to act, but we're still not doing enough...

As I recall you spent much of last year bragging about your efforts to keep the mentally and physically handicapped out of work and on the dole, so it looks like a plus for you Pappy   :) :)

Stop telling blatant very nasty lies about me. If your memory is that wrong I suggest you seek medical treatment.
