Lets be fair , any republican president would have had calls for impeachment at this time by a democrat party in the USA that has become increasingly socialist .

No, but I can tell you that Bandy Lee has tried similar tactics before by writing a book making similar claims.

That was more than 2 years ago.

The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump is a 2017 book edited by Bandy X. Lee, a forensic psychiatrist, containing essays from 27 psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals on the the "clear and present danger" that US President Donald Trump's mental health poses to the "nation and individual well being". They argue that the President's mental health was affecting the mental health of the people of the United States and that he places the country at grave risk of involving it in a war and of undermining democracy itself because of his pathological dangerousness.

Well, we are 2 years down the line, still no wars and an election is coming up in the US of A.

A group of mental health professionals led by a trio of preeminent psychiatrists is urging the House Judiciary Committee to consider Donald Trump's "dangerous" mental state arising from his "brittle sense of self-worth" as part of its inquiry into whether to approve articles of impeachment against him.

"We are speaking out at this time because we are convinced that, as the time of possible impeachment approaches, Donald Trump has the real potential to become ever more dangerous, a threat to the safety of our nation," said Yale Medical School Professor Dr Bandy Lee, George Washington University Professor Dr John Zinner, and former CIA profiler Dr Jerrold Post in a statement which will be sent to House Judiciary Committee members on Thursday.

The statement will be accompanied by a petition with at least 350 signatures from mental health professionals endorsing their conclusions.

All three psychiatrists have said they are willing to testify as part of the impeachment inquiry.
