Recovery is not quite the same as growth. Recovery is about getting back to where you would have been if the bad thing hadn't happened.

It's the difference between making up money lost through investing in an unsuccessful project to build cast-iron helicopters and getting a big fat pay rise.

Do not fry Conger, steam it or poach it, in "steak" cuts.

I believe you can do it like a Cumberland Sausage in its own skin, in the oven.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

I will be going out doing a bit of reef fishing in the boat, hoping to pick up some Black or Guilthead Bream. Some nice Gurnards and a strap as I've never tried Conger and I believe it's quite nice if done right.

Chelsea tractors do 60 mpg?......wow

Mine does 19 if the wife is driving, 21 if I'm driving and 30 at a push on a motorway run.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

No need to slum it.

Get Waitrose to deliver the food, take the Holland and Holland round to the Lizard and do a bit of peasant shooting.  :) :)

There are far too many tourists than the infrastructure can handle and the tourists appalling driving added to the locals appalling driving is making it very dangerous. Especially the tourist Chelsea Tractor pilots driving along single track roads with multiple blind corners at 60mph where anything more than 20mph is dangerous.
As for bring your own food, there are now shortages of food that are obvious. The is also a lack of staff in hospitality venues due to Brexit and the majority of housing being AirB&B, second homes or holiday lets.
Just a sample:-

I will be there in the wife's Rangey with my fishing boat on the back. I will as always be driving suitable for the conditions.

Just called the Tesco Extra in Redruth and there shelves are fully stocked so they tell me. Better get over there Pappy.

No need to slum it.

So, it isn't like Yemen then and it is no more dangerous than driving anywhere else. who knew?

It is probably safer to drive in Yemen, the accident rate locally here has been appalling over the last few weeks.
