My ancestral DNA check was not able to determine whether I am descended from the Atrebates or the Catuvellauni, however it does show I am not British. My ancestry is far more specific than that, down to a small area of the Chiltern Hills.  I am 73 years old in  few days.

My ancestry on my dads side way back is Viking like a fair few others but in the last 800 years it has been some form of Brit. My mother's maiden name goes back to the 11th century and associations with the king, even mentioned in the Doomsday Book. I'm still British so don't see your point.

Well most of them seem to be frightened off of many forums with the exception of a few diehards on facebook.

I suspect we have been too hard on them borkie . The brit left is reduced to hiding under a stone , crawling out occasionally in between rivers of tears to pop down the pub for secret meetings , sipping warm beer through their facemasks lamenting the end of the world.

I tell you borkie , i long for the next che guevara to come along  ,stick some fire in sensitive steves wobbly belly , and get the brit left going again with revolutionary talk. The time is ripe for a t e s c o till worker to emerge as a beacon for the loonie left.

That last hero they had , the anas sarwar guy , was a bit of a damp squib.

Perhaps pappy and the cornish socialist workers can egg on a few train drivers to graffitti "up the revolution" on penzance train station.

Sort of. Iron bars are sometimes used, although since many black cab drivers are Jewish, it might have been stale bagels at dawn.

Ryanair is the Addison-Lee of airlines — except AL usually take you to where you want to go, and doesn't drop you off at another journey's distance from your intended destination. 

My recollection is that Bob Crowe (RIP) was equating tude drivers with a captain's salary for a major airline of £75K-£90K... 

And Ryanair does not have an aeroplane on every corner (yet), nor has Michael O'Leary ever tried to settle a dispute between his firm and black cab drivers by steaming in and fettling one in Royal College Street.

Addison  Lee became much quieter after John Griffin retired.

My neighbour is a tube driver and earns between £50,000 and £60,000 per year, which is not bad when you consider that the trains are largely automatic
