The worry is the Tories are making such a monumental hash of things that an extreme left wing government is getting to be a probability more than a possibility.

I was pondering how a union led ultra left wing movement could possibly resurrect a political party to gather together the hardest left and lead them to political power in Britain today.

Frankly if  Starmer has a plan it isn't obvious.

I wasn't asking what plans Starmer might or might not have.

So what's the idea then, let pro-israel labour lite under Starmer sink and resurrect the Socialist Labour Party as once plugged by Scargill as New New Old Labour ??

I can sort of see the idea, but no one will vote them into power - unless they got be the vote to criminals, illegals and children.... Oh wait ....

They very obviously have no intention of doing so whilst Starmer is leader.

Looks like strategy. If Starmer's idea of keeping his foes inside the tent pissing out, rather than outside pissing in backfires — as it were — and foes inside the tent start pissing all over him, it seems politically sanitary to sweep the pissers out.
For the sake of getting an operational opposition, let's hope Sir Keir sticks to it — again, as it were...

If Starmer carries on the way he is, there won't be a Labour, the five million core voters who left because of Blair will be joined by several million more.

On climate change — we're talking, we're beginning to act, but we're still not doing enough...

It looks like Starmer is on a "suicide," mission:-

Ken Loach: Filmmaker kicked out of Labour Party 'for supporting expelled members'
The lifelong socialist said there was a "witch-hunt" after four campaign groups were expelled from Labour following criticism of the way Sir Keir Starmer was tackling antisemitism.

Surely, that should be the very time they do attempt to rescue the party from going under by taking control and steering a Far Left course?
Or perhaps they're hoping to salvage enough from any wreckage to build a Marxist onslaught...

Maybe, but I can't see Len McCluskey or his fellow dinosaurs coming to the party's rescue.
