An (ex MP) charged with fraud

Well, innocent until proven guilty and all that.

But if any MP or former MP is found guilty of fraud, they should get a stiff prison sentence.

More generally, any such convicton of any MP simply further undermines the already low standing of politicians in the public eye.

But further comment is unwise because we do not yet know if this particular person is guilty or not. That will be for a jury hearing all the evidence to decide.
