I would say most of the people still on furlough are in the unfortunate position of being in jobs that wont recover from the effects of the pandemic and will have to look elsewhere for gainful employment .

The good news is there are plenty of jobs about so maybe not as big a hit as it could have been , one door closes another one opens and all that .
