This isn't just a kickin, this is an M&S luxury Christmas kickin. Mmmm

 :hattip

I must try not to be to spiteful, particularly as I got what I wanted; a Conservative Government  and Brexit with a reasonable deal. But I did get a smidgeon of pure delight at the defeat and departure of two of the most arrogant women in politics; Jo Swinson and Anna Soubry! And neither of them even belong to the Party I hold in the deepest contempt.

I hope they both disappear into an alternative world where I never hear of them again, soon to be joined by Corbyn, McDonnell, Abbot, Lansdown, all Momentum members and right in the middle of all these people who are not on my Christmas Card list, I want to see Rory Stewart and that poisonous pygmy John Bercow.  :D

I doubt much will happen. Poor old Doris was such a mug that the EU could not resist pushing her around. But with intelligent hard cases now running both the EU and the UK I imagine that both sides will soon sort matters out without too much fuss.

The Labour party is like the Italian army in WWII. Gallant soldiers, sh!t officers.

So you're not convinced we need a "confirmatory" vote then?

I mean, everyone is so stupid they've probably just voted for the first thing they thought of. Saw Dawn Butler saying the victory was down to the simple mantra of Get Brexit Done. When asked why she thought Labour had lost, "It was just 3 words" she said with a look of contempt on her face "nice and easy to remember"

In that sentence, she summed up the entire reason why "thick" working class voters deserted the Labour party in numbers not seen in generations. I mean, even Redcar fell. Its never had a Tory MP before. Sadly, if they don't get it now, they never will. Here in the North east, the Labour party has been routed. Sad times in so many ways for such a once proud party.

That's a bit harsh Nick. Not all of us.

I'm not sorry the elite have had their arses handed to them on a plate, or that Corbyn has been utterly destroyed. But Boris was the only viable alternative, and that's hardly good for British politics. Saying he will get Brexit done is lot easier than doing it.

You might want to revive this thread in a year or so. Not everything remainers have said has been wrong. I think you'll find that only the easiest part has been done. Some, if not a lot, of what some of the more balanced remainers have said and warned you about will come to pass. A few chickens will come home to roost in the next 12 months or so.

Sorry Dawg, I forgot about the gentler folk 😊
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Sheepy

Angered then, what a bunch of jokers Labour are.
Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean I haven't noticed!

Morning everyone.  went to bed about 3am and the result was good for Brexit.

Nick, I can't see your video for some reason, but the sentiments are totally supported by the electorate. The MPs who failed to represent the will of the people have been well and truly told what we think of them.

Three cheers for democracy. The people win for a 4th time.

Swinson said there will be millions disappointed, no there will be a majority who are happy winners this morning.

She has cause to be disappointed. She was the leader of the remain cause and has been well and truly rejected.  :kikass:

Don't worry about the video, it might have been you who posted in the other place. It's the 17 million F@@@ offs video.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

'Good Morning all' she says with a huge smile. Shattered, pretty much up all night, it was like a really good book that I couldn't put down.

Yes Remain and the left ideology has had a kicking and yes the silent majority have at last legitimately stood up to the bullying and insults and made their view known with a vengeance just as we hoped they would, but let's not forget that a bit of grace will go further than kicking when they are down. The EU too can look at us with different eyes.

Like many others I was a bit shocked but pleased that Jo Swinson got her comeuppance, but the one thing she did was be gracious and that was a measure of the person not the politics and for that she has my admiration.

My hope now will be that those who disagree will now accept the majority vote with grace also, while in the meantime Westminster will return to being a place of decision and sense and yes discipline.

Whilst I accept your sentiment, for me, those who don't agree with the result can #$€%#€$%#%$

I am sorry that things did not work out the way Deppity Dawg wanted. If there had been a few more remainers like him the whole business would have been settled amicably three years ago and right now we would be wondering what the fuss was about.

As for the rest, I dare say that Javert and Beelby will soon be along to tell us that the Labour party actually won, Gerry will explain that as a result of the Irish beef embargo the UK actually starved to death last night and Conor will come along with something or other that is yards long and reads as though it is a cut and paste from Tolley's Tax Tables.

Thomas won't be around for a while. With the SNP having 48 out of 59 Scottish seats his liver will be so pickled that he won't know whether to wait until it drys out or fry it with some onions.

Never had a ban or warning but am going to say this anyway.

You Remainers have been a f**king disgrace, you have contrived to block, delay, obfuscate the will off the 2016 referendum for 3 and a half years. Tonight you have well and truly been told to stick you views where the Sun doesn't shine. Will you accept that?

NO,

Like Cromwell I cant bring myself to celebrate a Tory victory ,they have a long way to go to earn my trust on Brexit . Its a bit like scoring a goal and waiting to see if the VAR confirms it but we will have to wait and see.

But we are in as good a place as we could be as far defeating the Liberal remoaners and Corbyns socialist wet dream and today is for kicking , tomorow we can maybe have a little compassion for their deluded souls .

Well this what happens when you ignore a democratic vote,in the case of labour desert your core voters who you've taken for granted in the north, would love to see Bliars face Majors too, sourpuss is gone and Durham home of the miners gala is now Tory and Swinson I will be next PM has lost her seat.

I don't celebrate a Tory victory, what I do is that those who've had their intelligence insulted been ignored hectored and lectured have made a massive v sign to the Westminster bubble which has been burst.

Im surprised at the majority (65?) but not surprised that the country has rejected Corbyn and once again those supporting EU membership .
