What's he for?
To remind you what a disaster it would be if he or those like him became pm.

There might be something in that. It was generally assumed that Saddo's real ambition was to be leader of the Labour party, but he has to be the most timid little sod going and even he can't hope for that now.

What the f**k is the point of Saddo f**king Khan?

Boris was fun. His predecessor and successor both show what a killjoy Labour's reactionary socialism can be. London's one of the World's most enjoyable capitals for the arts, culinary diversity, sightseeing, sports, etc, etc, etc, and Khan has turned it into a North Korean obstacle course...
On climate change — we're talking, we're beginning to act, but we're still not doing enough...

People let off fireworks at almost any excuse these days. Not just small firecrackers but big sky-burst ones that make a loud bang.

Anything that reduces the amount of nuisance from fireworks is good in my book.

As things are the traditional firework day of November 5th is a celebration of either 1) the foiling of a plot to blow up Parliament or 2) the fact that someone nearly succeeded in blowing up Parliament, depending on which way you look at things.

I consider it the last time anyone actually meant to carry out, in the vicinity of parliament, the deeds they promised they would to those who sent them there
<t>In matters of taxation, Lord Clyde\'s summing up in the 1929 case Inland Revenue v Ayrshire Pullman Services is worth a glance.</t>

I might not be an expert but I do know enough to correct you when you're wrong!

There's no real reason to cancel the fireworks.
He's using a spent virus as an excuse, like businesses are using it as an excuse for poor customer service.
He managed to morph it into a pro-EU light show last year, so standby for another swipe at the right, with drones flying in formation and singing "keep the yellow starred flag flying".

The point of him is to keep the ethnics happy Borky . He says the news years celebrations are off due to ongoing covid related issues (Read he doesnt agree with people going up town filling the pubs and having a good night night out ) Yet hes quite happy to spend our money on Diwali celebrations next week in Trafalgar square  and the associated fireworks on your side of the river in November .
Eid is another ethnic party  that gets sanctioned by Khan as does the Chinese new year celebrations . No such luck for the Notting hill carnival though .

Unfortunately we are outnumbered  by ethnics , champagne socialists and their underlings Borky .  But keep fighting the good fight ,even they must eventually realise they voted for a ****

Hes closing police stations ,I dont even know where my nearest front desk is and has laughably claimed violent crime is down , robbery is down and burglary is down while forgetting to mention we have all been locked up at home for the past 18 months .
