We are not all in the same boat. We are in the same storm. Some of us have yachts. Some of us have canoes. Some of us are drowning.

You know as well as I do that down in these parts - with the exception of Dartmoor and to a lesser extent Bodmin Moor - snow is a rarity. The last seriously disruptive snow I can remember occurred in February 2018, nearly four years back and it had all melted within 48 hours.
The last very bad snow when the village was cut off for several days. (Food was supplied by helicopter, and there was an alcohol shortage it was seriously considered launching to lifeboat to go an get supplies,) was 1987.

It's not snow, it's the Snowflake Variant.  Be very afraid.

What's this rumour about lockdown from Jan 6th?

Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean I haven't noticed!

Sheeps, it does seem a lot of old cynics are not bothering with the 3rd dose. With all that stock it has to be cascaded down to anyone over 18.
They will be coming for the over 5 year olds by the end of this month. Just wait and see.

What's this rumour about lockdown from Jan 6th?

Blah, blah, blah Boris, you had already ordered the boosters before you knew anything about the new strain. Now you have no choice.

BJ is giving an announcement at 8pm because cases of omicron are rocketing.
