I need a man!

I love DIY and will tackle most things but it seems I am not infallible! Fitting a bracket for a cordless vacuum a job I could do with my eyes shut normally, I gaily drilled the holes etc offered the bracket to the wall part screwed screws in and finished them off with a cordless screwdriver. Only when they suddenly went tight did I realise that they were too long. DUH! Rookie error!

They will not come out. None of my power tools will fit to cut the screws loose so here I am on New Year Bank Holiday with a hacksaw laboriously working my way through. One is done - the second is proving more difficult. Now if I had a man here there would be two options. Get him to do the sawing or blame him anyway.   If this is an indication of how this year will pan out then perhaps I should simply stay in bed! 
Thank goodness you lot are here to cheer me up as I rest between the hacking efforts.
