I do apologise for the spelling slip. But I was just a slip of a lad, from the roughest end of town , kicked out of grammar school at the tender age of fifteen

At least you HAD a grammar school.

Cardiff's Marxist worshipping LEA in cahoots with Shirley fucking Williams bulldozed ours and bussed me and every other High IQ 11 plus passer in my primary school to a sink estate secondary modern four or five miles away to try to stunt our development

Fucking labour champagne socialists who ensured their kids got public school educated

<t>In matters of taxation, Lord Clyde\'s summing up in the 1929 case Inland Revenue v Ayrshire Pullman Services is worth a glance.</t>

It was just a bit of fun,the school I went to was ruled by the stick too,and punches....
fist use wasn't uncommon.

My old man before he went in the RAF was a proof reader, some of that stuck. :)

No probs Cromwell,. I felt a bit of a tit, and felt sorry for my self. Funny how old scars get inflamed.

I do apologise for the spelling slip. But I was just a slip of a lad, from the roughest end of town , kicked out of grammar school at the tender age of fifteen, behaviour issues. In the late fifties. In that time, education in my case was impressed with a stick.especially as the attitude seemed to be I was lucky to even be there.
Excuses I know, but I faced this sort of cute snobbery back then , not much changes it seems. Any how not having practised the use of English, to any great degree in the interceding years , yes I still suffer from the odd spelling slip. Not much money was wasted on me by the way.

The fight back begins. Right on que up pops Mi5 concerned about something they have known about for ages. What timing. I wonder if they were so concerned when we were so close to putting a huge chunk of our IT in Chinese hands.?

Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean I haven't noticed!

We went to the same school and both left at 15. We can probably beat most of the college boys in most subjects. No offence intended.

I hadn't noticed . No offence intended.

She was a spy in the sense she was "buying influence". I doubt China give a shit about whether BoJo was having parties in his garden or not but they will pay off inspiring MPs to vote for Chinese friendly policies in Parliament and look long term on them getting power in the future for more influence I suspect. This kind of shit goes on all the time I guess, certainly during the Cold War when Russian spy scandals were an annual affair. And naturally we would be doing likewise back to China in any case.

Add to that. When a governments has as much control as the one in China, surely why would there be any surprise as to where the root of any Chinese investment actually comes from.?
