I don't see the problem.  How difficult is it to convert your MG Midget into an Austin Healey Sprite?  All you need to do is change the grille and badges.
If you've got one of those really antique 'Midgets' from the 30's, 40's or 50's, they were officially known as TC, TD, TF etc. so no problem.

Honestly Cromwell, Mini Gems or Midget Gems, I couldn't give a shit. This is a company decision in any case and I suppose they are liable to the court of public opinion. It also isn't a legal presidence and more a business decision. But in regards to your response, it is common knowledge that Midget is an offensive terms to dwarfism whereas Mini isn't. Do I think Midget is an offensive word. No. But it can be derogatory and I guess if anything there is logic to this decision.
