This latest lot of lies from the government has reignited the revolutionary spirit.

Iran is not the country the propaganda from Western Media and government would have us believe.

Last year a Dutch lady travelled through Iran on a motorcycle on her own with no problems and frankly was treated with the greatest respect and friendliness by everyone she met. It is a country where the people are NOT the same thing as the government.

Nothing about this jet downing makes very much sense



Lets be clear that the Iranians operate a fully integrated Air Defense System, which is operated by professionals.

It is a very real stretch to imagine that they would not be able to recognise a Jetliner on a scheduled flight, fully transponding and using the official air corridor out of Tehran.

If the Iranians were that nervous of retaliation from their missile strikes, surely they would have closed their airspace and grounded all Commercial Air Traffic until such time as they were happy all was clear.



I would be very interested in learning how many aircraft and landed and taken off from Tehran Airport in the intervening time between the Missile strike and the Crash of the Boeing.



So what can I say.

Iranian air defences are modern and operated by professionals and have a good reputation

The last Jet liner shot down in Iran was hit by the Americans

That this is a another crash involving  a Boeing

Since when does anyone take the word of the Ukrainians at face value over anything with regard to maintenance?

This is very Twilight Zone stuff, but this story is the stuff of twilight and nothing is more murky than the intelligence world.



What if; I ask myself, Trump really has been trying to get out of the Middle East and has been blocked and reversed by the US establishment?

What if the Great Hero, Suliman, was resented and feared by many of his peers in the Iranian establishment?



Could we possibly have a quid pro quo whereas the US has now no realistic option to withdraw and the Iranians can swap a live menace for a dead martyr?



No evidence of course, but it is one of the few answers that joins the dots in any sensible pattern.....

I've recently read a report that says the reduction on USA reliance on the Middle East for energy needs has changed politics. The USA no longer need to support mavericks to keep their oil supplies going as the energy revolution of the 2010s takes hold.

Perhaps Saudi Arabia will also feel the effects of this as the shale gas industry in the USA meets more of their own energy needs.

Obama's wonderful deal made with Iran in 2015 is well and truly dead. Iran will be ramping up their nuclear programme. Although we don't REALLY know what they have been doing this last five years.

They have allegedly put an $80 million "price" on Trump's head.

Iran has said there'll be a response and it wouldn't be totally surprising if that occurs.  But there's more.  Iran has a powerful ally, Russia.
