I'm not expecting you to agree with me, but the biggest threat to our freedom is not coming from Putin mate, it's a lot more insipid than that. Just look at what Justin Trudeau has done in the last few days.

It's the principle of controlled opposition (although 'influenced opposition' is more accurate).  The global elite try to influence the left and the right.  They failed with the right, and turned to the left, after the left grew in popularity in the sixties.  Free speech becomes manipulated into compelled speech, or compelled silence, i.e. liberty becomes authoritarianism.  It's a very clever slight of hand.

People should be judged on what they do not a stereotype but that's the problem with humanity so many need to feel superior or to hate,both often.

Indigenous? Like history is decided by those with the power,the problem we have in addition to those above is so many want us to be guilty for the past and so many eager to feel guilty.

Im not saying forget history but understand it for what it is  a time of different mores,why should somebody feel guilty for actions they had no control over and why do others think they surely should feel guilty.

Reading through the thread, virtually everyone has missed the (political) point. On a politics forum.

The point is, this guys appointment to a position in the "leveling up" strategy (if it evens gets off the ground) is being challenged by the liberal left with the same tired old narrative that anyone who speaks up against their agenda is a "racist".

You can bet your f**king house that anyone from Black Lives Matters or any number of "friendly muslim" community representatives would be welcomed onto any "strategy" faster than you can say indigenous, except the moment they have white skin its a f**king problem. Because pointing out that people with white skin are already a minority in the capital of this country makes you a "racist".
