So we can assume he's pulling in over 25K in pensions to the PS household, otherwise he'd give some of his tax allowance to his wife.

I'm pretty certain that you told me the state pension is not taxable. So you must have another income which takes you over the tax threshold.

The triple lock was "suspended", but actually we'll never get what we are owed from last year. Now they've got away with it once, they'll do it again. They already stole a years pension from me and 6 years from my wife. That's £63000 they stole.

You know full well why the triple lock couldn't be honoured, you're just playing games.

Actually it is, although it is something of a technicality

Depriving council tenants of roofs over thier heads and screwing the working class he claims to stand up for.  Steve and boycey will be along in a minute to call him out as a class traitor.

The state pension is not taxed however my personal pension added to my state pension takes me above the tax allowance.

I remember his post on the subject. As you say, he claimed he was told the state pension cannot be taxed.

Sadly nobody I know can confirm it.

Those who could died of a stroke or cancer that was left ignored by a Welsh NHS petrified by COVID.

Rishi f**ked me over last year when he made those of us age 64 wait until 66, a direct violation of a promise made three years ago when they hiked the pension age to 67 for under 60s, that the over 60s that those then over 60 would be unaffected. I must therefore wait another 12 months, by which time the scumdog multi millionaire will of course F@@@ us over again.

SW is correct. Never trust a Tory

They have done it for as long as I can remember, big up the next pension plans because they raided the last one and then raid the next one, if it works keep at it, while at the same time tell everyone we need more mass immigration because otherwise there will be nobody who will be paying the pension funds which were long gone anyway. Just saying.
Just because I don't say anything, it doesn't mean I haven't noticed!

Just had the information from the Pensions Service part of the DWP. My rise in state pension from April with be £6.06 (gross) per week. After tax that won't buy a pint of beer and a packet of pork scratchings.
