Isn't this a case of anything that goes against Putin's truth will be fake? Isn't this the problem with the type of regime that he is running. As I understand it people are too frightened of the repercussions to even query him. It's a case of what he says goes. He lied for weeks that there would be no invasion, now he says he is not bombing civilians, that not many of his troops are dying. He is such a lovable chap after all.
