The withdrawal in Kherson is looking a bit bad for Putin, but I'd not underestimate a cornered animal.

I see that Biden thinks this is a time to go for peace talks. Perhaps Ukraine should tell them if they don't withdraw to where they were in January they'll take back the Crimean peninsular, too.

But, on the other hand, Putin has a commander in charge who has a reputation for ruthlessness. Do they intend to defeat Ukraine by just destroying all their electricity, gas and fresh water infrastructure? Isn't that a war crime against civilians.

One thing is for sure, Putin is not about to withdraw gracefully.

Something though is building along the entire front and the Bakhmut front seems especially active today with lots of channels talking about the Wagner group making "significant" advances.
Overall though there has been a pretty complete news blackout from the Russian side over the last few days. even the internet and phones being switched off. This combined with the apparent none-working of the Starlink system is widely supposed to be an operational news blackout by the Russians prior to a forthcoming major offensive.

What there has been plenty of, during the last few days is footage of drone and artillery strikes against the Ukraines Air Defenses and Artillery pieces. The tempo again reinforces the sense of major offensive looming....

I joined the RAF after the Falklands War and come out before the 1st Gulf War and some of my fellow TCW mates recalling tales of VOA putting out propaganda about Gurkha's jumping out of Hercules at about 50' with out parachutes. The Argentinians were apparently 💩 their pant thinking the first thing they'd know after a plane went over was the cold steel of a Gurkha blade. Propaganda is a powerful tool when used right and the right story used, that's where the likes of RT fail miserably.

Russians preparing to lose Khershon?

Somethings not right here . A few days ago the ethnic Russians are told to leave and now it appears the admin are following . I think they are more likely to be preparing to fight for it  which means like many towns before it will become a pile of rubble .

All very dramatic but not exactly an answer to the question I asked, which is why you could not video some of the tat you say you have seen on Russian TV.
As I said, its on public broadcast, who going to care whether you record it or not.
I really don't see why you need to worry about 10 years in the Gulag??!!
