So it looks as though the crews are still fired but with the question of how big the pay off.

Going to sea seems a much kinder and duller way of life than when I was in the Merchant Navy. I imagine that if a modern day Captain Richardson leveled a 0.455 Mars pistol at a bolshie seaman, it would be a cause for complaint rather than an interesting topic of conversation
