Fifty million people have received Covid vaccine in UK. If 400,000 reported adverse affects that's 0.8 percent — and most of those have yet to be evaluated...

If 400,000 people reported an adverse reaction, then the estimated actual number is 4 million, based on a study which showed about 1% of them get reported.

Its a fact of life that we are all different and react differently to vaccines .
i agree. Wasnt that part of the argument against mass vaccination , that teenagers and the young shouldnt be getting vaccinated against a virus that doesnt affect them , where they could have adverse effects with the vaccine , the vaccine doesnt stop them catching or spreading the virus , all to allegedly save the lives of some elderly who may be susceptible to mother natures periodic pandemics?

Its ironic , the people who were demanding for two years the world must lock down and mass vaccinate as they couldnt possibly take  risks now arguing risks had to be taken with a vaccine.

If you're severely disabled as a result of a vaccination against certain diseases, you could get a one-off tax-free payment of £120,000. This is called a Vaccine Damage Payment.
You can also apply for this payment on behalf of someone who has died after becoming severely disabled because of certain vaccinations. You need to be managing their estate to apply.
You can still take legal action to claim compensation, even if you get a Vaccine Damage Payment.

I wonder if you recall the early 1980s

A couple whose child was converted from a happy, carefree, intelligent kid into a brain fried vegetable by the whooping cough vaccine were told by "the authorities" that they had given their consent to their child being vaccinated and therefore they were ineligible for any state aid or compensation whatsoever for the crippling costs said vegetable would now need for what was jokingly referred to as her "life"

It was the early days of Breakfast Television. I believe it was Frank Bough on the sofa introducing this news item along with the footage of the tearful about to go bankrupt couple and the intransigent civil servant.

Sarah was born three years later and I refused to let her have the whooping cough vaccine, citing this as why.

I wasn't the only one.

She had the jab when Jennifer had it a few years later. I was freelancing and not around ...

Most of them wont be evaluated . The yellow card is to report side effects not to claim compo

Its a fact of life that we are all different and react differently to vaccines . Trials determine the risk to the general public not the individual , for the greater good and all that

Ive not had a very good ride with the covid vaccines myself and would be one of the 400,000 who submitted a response to the yellow card  scheme .

To put things into perspective though the vaccine damage payout has been going since 1979 and has paid out something in the region of £75 Million to people adversely effected by vaccines . Something to keep an eye on for sure but one payout for covid is a drop in the ocean .

Widow will become first person in the UK to receive

Covid vaccine damage payment

A woman whose fiancé died after having the AstraZeneca Covid vaccine will become the first person in the UK to receive a Covid vaccine damage payment of £120,000, GB News can exclusively reveal.

Until now, no lump sums have been issued to more than 1,300 people who claimed damage claimants for Covid jab-related injuries and bereavements, despite reports more than 400,000 people have reported vaccine side effects to the Yellow Card Scheme.
But after months of campaigning Vikki Spit tonight announced she was to receive one following the death of her 48-year-old musician partner and husband-to-be, Zion.

It makes me angry, quite frankly.  It's a good outcome for her, but not for the taxpayer.  The only justice is for vaccinators to be prosecuted, and put in prison, for not getting proper informed consent to apply treatment.  That's where the buck stops.
