The anger provoked on this forum proves otherwise.

That anger is in your mind, Papa. To most of us it is just a half interesting pastime.

If you didn't endlessly troll threads to within an inch of their lives, perhaps there would be a little more politeness? But you seem to have difficulty with basic understanding of social cues and skills, and you take literal meanings to every word written. It becomes intensely irritating after about the 137th time.

Well, if this forum is any indicator of the country as a whole, then I think the UK must be very welcoming and tolerant.

Well, if this forum is any indicator of the country as a whole, then I think the UK must be very welcoming and tolerant. After, we tolerate all sorts here, from those with Asperger's to people whose understanding of social norms seems to date from before the industrial revolution. Oh we happy few.

Still, I often find I need a fecking drink after reading some of the undiluted horsewash that passes as contribution.

The government are beginning to be feared,

They have been feared since May 2010 by million of British citizens, and with good reason.

No it isn't, which is why Britain is a tolerant and welcoming country is nonsense. The government are not welcoming or tolerant for a start.

The government are beginning to be feared, what with people saying the wrong thing on Twitter and losing their entire professional career over it. I think when Mrs  May was so-called running the country, that although she made out she was by looking all presidential and that, in actual fact it was the opposite, and the unelected dictators were running it without question.

They are the ones who work out what the children should be taught, and have caused no end of trouble. Schools have had walk-outs and 'tools down' situations. Even the little children have cottoned on to their wicked ways.

I heard the other day a rep from this bunch of dictators wants to introduce an additional cost to landlords about some stupid bullshit that's unnecessary and would be the equivalent of one month's rent, or almost 10%, and these high-paid good-for-nothing socialist socialites on Radio 4  thought that was nothing to worry about for the tenant. 10% on top of rip-off housing costs already could mean thousands more on the street, but these cretins don't even give it another thought. Lets hope they get their P45s, because we need a clear out.

It's not just the race you are though.

I have no choice but to believe the opposite, given the evidence. I would love to know where all these "multicultural integrated idylls" are.

Various types of "ist" attacks both verbal and physical on the increase, (much worse since the referendum.)

On a personal level I have received abuse for talking to homeless people in the street.

I got strange looks for giving a black biker a biker handshake and a hug. (He happens to be a serving soldier with several medals.)

Sorry but Britain is not a tolerant and welcoming country.

It's not just the race you are though. It's whether you are different, and as someone who is, I find this attitude everywhere. I've known many others who are different and they get the same treatment. For example, if you are middle class and step into a working class work environment and hate football, but read the kind  of weird stuff i like then you are different and you will find you cycle through a routine. You get questioned. You could try and fake it and that might work for a bit but many refuse to lie and then that goes down like a lead balloon. You get singled out. You get scapegoated, and it is quite likely you will be sacked for a made-up reason.

So the one thing that predominates in this country is the feeling that you must fit in. Diversity is frowned upon. Indeed in industry an original idea would likewise be frowned upon, so the firm does the same thing as it has always done and goes bust.

My view is we should cut down on the numbers of those from the Middle East with barbaric and backward cultures as it is in places like Iran, and absolute bleedin' loony asylum of a country, and yet other countries are likely to help us. I keep on hearing about Norway for example. They are getting ahead in a  big way, hence a few Norwegians as industrial consultants would be beneficial. We must use our heads here. Diversity in culture is good, and economic migration is troublesome.

Good point.

Sometimes after a hard day pouring petrol through the letter boxes of various ethnics, I stop and wondering why it is that so many folk want to come here.

You shouldn't say that, we know you are joking, some people might not and there'll be a knock on the door. It won't help you having a pin up of Mrs Begum from over the road on your wall, either.

Seems we are a tolerant and welcoming country. What is more, we seem to be a very attractive country to people standing on the Northern coast of France.

That 1890 are the only ones that were found. The rest just disappeared.

So "the rest" represents a significant number, who all seem happy to "disappear" in an intolerant and unwelcoming country? I don't think so.

As usual, your disjointed and bile driven argument (in this case directed at the whole country rather than just at dem Tories) doesn't add up.

Haven't you got a shed or a barbeque to build or something?
