It is now down to 449. If this carries on the flu will be over in a few weeks, the allotment shop and coffee houses will reopen and we will have to find something else to argue over.

However the number of reported hospital fatalities is often lower on Sundays and Mondays due to delays in registering deaths over the weekend.

Thats just the "official " hospital deaths borkie , not the total deaths. Good luck if you think this is going to be over in a few weeks.

I was chastised before for mentioning a reduction in deaths, so I'll merely say the latest figures of 596 followed by 449 APPEAR to be good news after a peak of 888.

I hope that this reduction continues, as it decreases the worry and stress in the community and will allow the government to consider relaxing the lock-down.

Coronavirus has weakened the case for an independent England.  If they would allow themselves to be run as a colony of Scotland, for the benefit of the people of Scotland, England would do somewhat better than it could manage on its own especially with "Carry On Boris Rarely Attends " johnson at the helm.
