I just read that there is a suspicion that China isn't being honest with number of deaths. Cremations are happening without being added to the records but with the numbers they have infected I should think it would be impossible and possibly inadvisable to try and do postmortems. There is a good chance I would have thought, that some deaths will be virus based. If it is  finishing off elderly and infirm it must be easy to pass them off as death for other reasons. Let's hope we are not importing a further 100 plus today.

No govts are ever honest about such things,they want to avoid panic.



To be fair to the Chinese they have tried hard to contain this and it could've started in any densely populated country,I remember the swine flu and seeing the mobile mortuary units on the motorways,nothing in the news though.

So the Flu is both more infectious and contagious and leads to the death; directly or indirectly of many thousands of people in the UK each year. This Coronovirus is however more virulent, which means that you are at a greater individual risk, should you catch it.



I still say that the flu or Norovirus poses a greater threat to most people than Coronovirus.

It all smacks of blatant scaremongering and just a little racism. The BBC were calling it the "Chinese Virus" this morning. Must admit I was unaware that a virus could have a nationality. Did they call Ebola the African Virus?

One thing that has become crystal clear in the past few days which is for me the key issue.



SARS was easy to detect because those unfortunate SIDS who caught it showed symptoms fairly swiftly



This bastard however sits inside you quietly infecting those around you while you show NO outward issues.



That's the problem right there. You could have been sat on a plane infecting the whole cabin and NO ONE would know.



As I posted elsewhere earlier, yesterday a woman and her adult daughter living in my town in the UK were taken under police escort to an unspecified medical facility, the elder suffering severe symptoms and in some distress, the younger also showing symptims. They had flown into the UK from China some weeks ago and been ill since shortly after their arrival

The evacuation of UK nationals from Wuhan are to be placed in to isolation for 14 days,others returning from elsewhere in China are to be advised to self isolate for 14 days! :fcplm:



Apparently it's a bit crowded down south so they will be isolated in a hospital up north    :barf:

So they are being flown in to RAF Brize  and then transferred to Arrowe Park hospital on the Wirral and isolated for 14 days.

My post there was general, but directed to the person quoted. I have a strong view against radical feminists and can see they are due to pass a law protecting them from so-called hatred. You people support this idea, but perhaps you are not quite aware that it has got as far as Channel 4 asking whether there should be a law on it, i.e. the whole fascist process is already in motion.
