I would say confidence and credibility  gives it more  . Once you have that cash from taxation follows '

The government have gone very quiet since the announcments last week , that breeds uncertainty the one thing the markets dont like .
Im guessing the Conservative conference will come with some explaination of how the fiscal plan will work and along with a  rallying of the troops a more clear outlook .
The £ will get a little stronger and confidence will return to the markets and we will have lift off .

Well if we all push we may get a bump start .

That's cause you're a closed minded individual that seems scared of your own shadow.
I bet you say you don't like a certain food stuff even though you've never tried it.
Ehat possible reason have you to say such a thing?
You could not be more wrong about me. There are many reasons I don't want to go to Argentina and being scared is not one of them.
The Foreign Office travel advice for Argentina is not very good either.
As for food I grew up in poverty and we ate anything and everything. (My mother used to say you can eat all of a pig except the oink.)
I can't think of any food foreign or domestic I don't like.

Value and price (exchange rate) are not actually synonymous. It is generally accepted that taxation gives currency value if you must know. I don't know if I can be arsed to go though the bollocks of exchange rate with you today given I was not discussing that yesterday, but I wonder, how much do you know about Argentina?

How do you rate a currency's value if not by how much people will pay in other countries to acquire it?

Comparing the prices of Big Macs in Australia, France, Norway, Switzerland, UK and US could be one way. Or  how much of each currency is needed to pay for a barrel of oil — ie, that is compare it to the USD...

I wasn't talking about exchange rate. I was talking about value. Taxation gives currency value. Otherwise it is basically the same as Bitcoin.

Also, without taxation how exactly do you think the government is getting back its borrowing?

Borrowing gives the borrower more money — that's why they are borrowing. A country's money supply is down to whoever is in charge of printing more money or gathering in what's out there.

Without borrowing, the borrower probably cannot do what they are borrowing the money for.

Taxation is a way for governments to raising money, direct spending, encourage investment, etc. All things that can affect confidence in a currency.

It's interest rates rather than taxation that have more sway over exchange rates...

Oh my god. Explain to me right here and now what borrowing does for the money supply. Next ask what taxation does. You really are f**king clueless. Stop digging the f**king hole on something you know f**k all on.

So the kids starve during the week?

They get school meals during term time in the week.  I made that VERY clear.

From what I have told the Tories and the Tory MP with evidence I am frankly surprised I have not been found dead having "committed suicide," dressed in women's clothing and surrounded by kiddie porn.
The local Tory MP had no idea, until I told him that a local food bank existed which also feeds with hot meals 400 school children at weekends and during school holidays when he was stood in front of the building. (The foodbank and feeding children have been in existence for all of his time as an MP.)

To be honest Pappy, while I am sure that they mean well, the do gooders in your area don't seem to be particularly well organised. As said before, the best idea will be to send all your loose cash to me and I will put it to a bad use.

Then resist Pappy.  Stand up tall and proud and tell the Tories that you won't be bought and then cast their gold into my bank account.
