Are we talking about Atlas Shrugged?  It was flat.  Rand could have got her point across in half a dozen paragraphs.  And the reference to Yeats?

I am not so sure that Ayn read poetry. She certainly made a point of her heroes not reading novels

I agree with a lot that she had to say, but Jesus wept, she was a dreary cow.

Does anyone else find that? You look at the opposition and think that there are better men shoveling shit rather than talking it, but even so you like their style. And then you look at your own side and think well put lads, now shut up because you make my hemorrhoids bleed?
