The end of the Good Friday Agreement | Ben Habib (centrefortheunion.co.uk)

Well at last someone has said it . The GFA which the EU has used to beat the UK over the head with isn't worth the paper its written on . It was designed for  a time that no longer exists and the sooner it is consigned to history the better
It talks of the NI protocol, which the illustrious Johnson agreed. That's only a couple of yrs ago and it hasn't yet been fully implemented. Lets get it working as agreed before we start looking to bin it.
Truth is NI is prob the best performing region of the UK and it's because of NI's unique position of having one foot in the EU. It's an embarrassing situation for the brexit movement, a glaring sore highlighting the folly brexit is.
The only coherent argument in that article talks of the UK making it's own laws. BUt it does for all of the UK, including NI. The same EU oversight applies to an English company selling into the EU as NI company. They must both follow EU rules, it's only semantics that separate them.
