There are appears to be a lot of it about. (Non covid related illness.)  Again just before Christmas, most of the village seems to be ill. My wife had to have a course of broad spectrum antibiotic. (That for her is a rarity, getting her to see a doctor is extremely difficult.)  I felt terrible for two weeks and had to resort to prescription Class A pain killers. Several local business's shut down due to illness. What with that, the carnage on the local roads due to ice and now floods due extreme rain, potholes in the road big enough to take cover from air attack in. I am not looking forward to doing the Christmas shopping today.
