The UK has always being a reluctant member, any country can leave, no other country has remotely looked like going that way. The temperature has been tested in many opinion polls, until they are positive then no country would go down a referendum route.

Farage was saying it a mere week or so ago , and it has been a constant over the last few years from brexiters with poland being thrown up on a regular basis among other countries as wanting to leave the eu.

They've got it backwards, it's the UK that's collapsing. First Johnson is accusing the EU of breaking deals when the fact is he signed up to what he was angry about in the withdrawal agreement. The NI, Welsh and Scottish local Govt's have all rejected Brexit but England marches on. I wonder which will be the first to break the UK, what will it be then called, most likely if NI leaves first then it's back to GB, but if Scotland leaves first then both UK or GB would cease, probably Britain in that case. I do jest but the idea that the UK leaving the EU is in any way an advertisement for any other country to follow suit is beyond ludicrous. Firstly no other country wants to leave and secondly Brexit has done more to unite the remaining countries.

I don't think Poland on the whole wanted to leave the EU but that the Polish governments judicial reviews were deemed unlawful by the Polish courts in line with EU law . Meaning they would HAVE to leave wether they wanted to or not .



The EU have bottled it though , totally turned a blind eye to it all and even sent Macron to Poland this last weekend to talk about how important Poland is going to be in the future of the eu
