Stop RAF Scampton Being Turned into a Detention Camp for immigrants

Relax pappa its only a stop gap till the Rwanda deal is given the green light . Sounds like a good plan to me what with the runway being on site .

It has stopped a multi-£million development of the area, that would have preserved the 617 Squadron memorabilia, kept the runway in use are created 1000 jobs. The Home Office are a disgrace.

Scampton ceased to be an RAF base some time ago and has been lined up for re-development so it was never going to continue to be an important part of British  History anyway .

Frankly I am in a state of shock about the proposal to turn such an important part of British history into a detention centre for immigrants. Please sign the petition:-

Scampton ceased to be an RAF base some time ago and has been lined up for re-development so it was never going to continue to be an important part of British  History anyway . 
Put up a petition to return it to an RAF base housing todays equivelent of Bomber command and I'll sign it
