But this isnt about bullying , its about who is running the country , the government or the civil service and it appears seeing as Richie was hiding (again) all day yesterday that its not him . Friday drinks down Scotland Yard  will be all fist pumps and high fives  this afternoon

I can recall two — one especially. He is a grey-haired early sixties senior functional director who I've seen reduce a shorthand typist to tears simply because she was delivering an unwelcome bit of info from her boss and couldn't take down accurately a reply about a technology of which she had no knowledge.

He had a reputation, and whenever he shifted function, staff resigned, but he stayed in that company for more than 10 years...

And the other occasion, did that involve King John pulling the teeth out of Jewish bankers?

And back in the day when I was involved in politics, if someone offended you the usual approach was to invite them outside where you would settle it on the stones.

My experience from Defence Procurement is the exact opposite. Hence my opinions. Sadly i was not allowed to use the solution the Saudi's did.

That is just experience of one area. (Military procurement has needed radical reform since the time of wooden battleships.)

Regardless of Rabbs position or indeed his behaviour  I think its a sad day when a guy is forced out because the underlings want to run the show instead of doing what they are told .
