Presumably you'd blame the antibiotics for someone still being ill an hour after they started taking them.  It will take years for the Tories to purge the stench of Boris.  Dyed in the wool Tories might want to believe he can win them the next election but the crucial middle ground of voters want nothing to do with him and his odious ways.
