There were over 32.8 million people employed in the United Kingdom in the three months to July 2023. Is that the highest ever?

Does that include the over 600000 legal immigrants in the last year plus the over 40000 illegal ones?

What are they doing if not at least helping the production sectors?

Are they all in the service sectors — with many of them caring for the approximately 1.46 million unemployed in the three months to July 2023, the highest number since September 2015, when there were just over 1.76 million unemployed...?

We need to produce more so we are not so reliant on imports . Being independent comes with responsibilities that the government  and some companies dont seem to be able to grasp

Leaving the EU  was a once in a lifetime opportunity to do it our way . I would say we haven't taken it and Creasy to say we wouldn't have the extra costs had we not had Brexit can easily be countered with we wouldnt have them at all if we had Brexited in a  fashion that didn't leave us reliant on EU imports
