I am puzzled by that a few miles away from me six Nigerian health and care workers were "imported" last week. (Where they are going to be homed I have no clue.)

The care provider will have their housing sorted for them . The department of health and social care allowed £15M  to help recruit overseas workers . This fund helps with finding workers , help with sponsors and visas and access to affordable housing .

There has been a sharp fall in the number of overseas health and care workers applying for visas in the first few months of this year compared with the year before.
