He's a very successful journalist, and he at least can spell.
I am afraid I put the majority of journalists down at the bottom of the list of trustworthiness alongside politicians, and estate agents.

And laugh at life which I guess is why his programmes get millions of viewers .

I have always failed to see why a moron like Clarkson gets to much publicity.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

So you don't like this topic and are trashing it. Well, fair enough, I don't suppose anyone will be offended as it's an auto news feed.

I socialise with a broad spectrum of humanity. Until he died five years ago including a mass murderer. (Single incident, personally I would have called it vermin clearance.) He was let out of a secure mental institution after about 30 years, due to advances in medication and psychiatry.

I'm pretty sure its not the company you keep , we all have wealthy mates and we can't all be elitist so what are they on about?

Who cares?
Well at least one person does .

I thought the Clarkson farm programme was brilliant and though Im not buying it that the lovely Lisa worked 24/7 in the farm shop procuring goods from outside the exclusion zone and spending her down time with here arm up a cows arse I'm pretty sure nobody on that show could be called 'elitist' .

Which brings a thought of what is 'elitist' ?  I'm pretty sure its not the company you keep , we all have wealthy mates and we can't all be elitist so what are they on about?

Lisa Hogan, the girlfriend of Jeremy Clarkson and star of Clarkson's Farm, faced criticism over the weekend for a new post shared to Instagram. In it, the Irish TV personality was enjoying a "gals lunch" with a couple of pals away from Diddly Squat, journalists Jemima Goldsmith and Martha Ward.

Both she and Clarkson enjoyed some downtime away from the mud and fields of Diddly Squat this past weekend as the former Top Gear star celebrated his daughter Emily's 30th birthday.

And it appears that at said celebrations, Goldsmith and Ward joined them as both Clarkson's Farm stars posted updates with the two on their respective social media pages.

Goldsmith is the daughter of famous financier and business tycoon James Goldsmith and has paved a hugely successful career in screenwriting and journalism while Ward similarly has achieved worldwide plaudits and now works as the global fashion director at publishers, Conde Nast.

But as Hogan posted her smiley selfie with the duo on social media, one person accused her of living an "elitist" lifestyle that was in contrast to the farming way of life depicted in Amazon's hit series.

In response to Hogan's "gals lunch" update, the irked social media user in question wrote: "Sorry, elitist stuff doesn't match the farm."

The Clarkson's Farm fan was soon met with floods of comments defending Hogan, including one from the Diddly Squat Farm's official page.

The verified Diddly Squat account is manned by both Clarkson and Hogan and it appears the former used it to hit back: "Elitist? She's putting the geese away now.

"You really should put a brake on your comments," it added, prompting swathes of others to similarly leap to Hogan's defence.

Elsewhere in the comments, one fan wrote: "Why are there #negative comments??? Am I missing something here??

"All I see in this pic is 3 #beautiful ladies #smiling and being #happy...isn't that what life is supposed to be about??...#happiness."

"How is this pic elitist??" a second questioned. "It's just women who are friends! Geeeezz...."

Elsewhere, a third hit out: "Some people can't handle successful women who happen to also be happy and beautiful! Such a shame in 2024! Positive role models not your thing?"

And a fourth penned: "Lovely pic. My gal pals are everything. Shame about the negative comments on the post.

"Apparently you can only be a farmer and nothing else. Some people People are so bl**dy narrow minded." (sic)

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

Lisa Hogan

It's not the first time over the weekend that Clarkson used his social media presence to interact with his followers.

He also revealed he's in "trouble" following new "dangerous" measures he's introduced at Diddly Squat to deter intruders.

Clarkson set up a series of beehives near a path close to his Chadlington home, prompting one rambler to complain to the Daily Mail that they'd been stung.

The Grand Tour star then took to X to fume: "I put some bee hives there because that's the regen field and there are many things they like to pollinate. And now I'm in trouble because someone might get stung. Who'd be a farmer?"
